Des’s impressive background includes almost 22 years with FME. He contributed to a wide array of roles in engineering design, product development, contract management, and technical sales. His deep understanding of the wastewater industry, particularly in the context of automatic grease removal technology, made him a perfect fit for the role.

Beyond his time at FM Environmental, Des also served as a consultant engineer and managed an electrical engineering company for seven years. His extensive experience in both technical and leadership positions ensured that Grease Guardian LLC was in capable hands as it expanded its operations across the United States.

Expanding the Grease Guardian Brand

Under Des’s leadership, Grease Guardian LLC quickly established itself as a trusted provider of advanced grease management solutions in the US. Grease Guardian’s core product, the Automatic Grease Removal Device (AGRD), was introduced to customers across the country, offering a high performance solution to traditional grease traps. Grease Guardian’s cutting-edge systems, known for their efficiency, sustainability, and ease of maintenance, quickly gained traction in the foodservice and hospitality sectors.

Within a short time, Grease Guardian LLC established a strong presence across the United States, offering AGRDs that were widely adopted by businesses looking for efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions for grease and fat management. These products quickly became a top choice for kitchens, restaurants, and industrial sectors. In addition to dominating the US market, Grease Guardian has expanded into a variety of markets, grown its global distributor network to over 50 distributors, and increased its production capabilities.
